What is HITL?
HITL stands for Human in the Loop. Our idea is simple: ask a meaningful question about AI, invite people with different professional and life experiences to answer it, and bring those perspectives into conversation.
A teacher may notice something an engineer misses. A physician may raise a concern a business owner has never considered. A student, caregiver, artist, or retiree may ask the question everyone else overlooked.
We bring these voices together in a short video, a companion article, and a question for the audience. The purpose is to help people understand the choices AI creates—and the human judgment those choices need.

From your answer to an episode
- One question. We share the topic and a few prompts so you know what we are exploring.
- Your answer. Write roughly 100–200 words, or share a link to a short audio or video response. A clear thought matters more than polished production.
- A real exchange. We may invite you to respond to a point raised by another contributor. Respectful disagreement makes the discussion stronger.
- A human editorial review. We select complementary perspectives, check factual claims, and prepare a video and article. AI may assist with organization, captions, or production; people remain responsible for the final story.
- Review, permission, and sharing. Before publication, we confirm how your contribution and credit will be used and give you an opportunity to check your excerpt for accuracy.
The result: one question → several human perspectives → a short video + an article + a new conversation.
What might an episode explore?
For “Should AI create AI?”, an episode could bring together a developer discussing testing, a teacher discussing how people learn, a healthcare professional discussing accountability, a student discussing opportunity, and a retiree discussing trust.

Do I need to appear on camera?
No. You can begin with a written answer.
Do I need to be an AI expert?
No. We are looking for thoughtful reasoning and experience. “I am not sure yet” can be the beginning of a valuable answer.
How will my contribution be handled?
We aim to preserve your meaning, distinguish opinion from factual claims, and agree on attribution before publication. We would seek separate, explicit permission for any synthetic recreation of your voice or likeness. Please avoid sharing confidential employer, client, patient, or personal information.
